We had a great President's Day weekend! We were planning on going to Olive Garden on Friday to celebrate my birthday, but about 3:00 a blinding snowstorm came through. So we settled for dinner at home. Thankfully, hubby was willing to go pick up some dinner and had already bought a cake...a double chocolate cheesecake! The weekend was cold up until Sunday. It was nice to stay inside watching the snow and scrapbooking. I was so excited to get some pages completed.(Pictures to come later)
Sunday we ventured out to Olive Garden and then to my favorite store...Target. It was a nice long weekend. Hubby was off both Friday and Monday and the kids enjoyed having him around to play with.
This week we are going to have a taste of spring after our bitter cold weather. Today the weather is suppose to hit 60 degrees. Whew. Getting us prepared for CA weather! I plan on getting the kids outside today for some fresh air.
